Common questions.

  • What exactly is a seat?

    Every Assistant on the platform counts as one seat, that's how billing works. A single user with one Assistant is 1 seat. A second Assistant for a different role (e.g. a sales Assistant alongside your personal Assistant) is 2 seats. A team of five, each with their own Assistant, is 5 seats.

  • What is a Tellexa credit?

    Your Assistant uses credits whenever it works, reading emails, drafting replies, scheduling meetings, running automations, searching your knowledge base or generating documents. Simple tasks use fewer credits, complex multi-step workflows use more.

  • Do credits roll over?

    Included credits (Solo 2,000 / Team 3,000 per seat per month) reset at each billing cycle and do not roll over, similar to how monthly data or minutes work on a cellphone contract. Top-up credits purchased separately do roll over and can be used any time. Top-up credits expire 12 months after purchase if unused.

  • How does voice agent billing work?

    Voice agents are available as an add-on on every plan. Calls are billed separately from credits, and don't draw from your credit balance. Talk to us about voice pricing — rates depend on the speech-to-text and text-to-speech models you choose.

  • Can I upgrade, downgrade or cancel?

    Yes. Subscription changes (upgrades, downgrades, adding or removing seats or cancellations) require 30 days' notice and take effect on your next billing cycle. You can manage this directly from the portal or by contacting us. Unused top-up credits remain available after a plan change.

  • Can I add or remove add-ons at any time?

    Yes. Add-ons like Meeting Note Taker, MaxiTasks, Workflows and Voice Agents can be activated or deactivated at any time from the portal. Add-on charges are prorated and appear on your next invoice. All add-ons are available on every plan, Solo, Team and Enterprise.

  • Which integrations are supported?

    Every plan supports Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and iCloud for email, calendar, contacts and files. Solo includes 1 provider account and 2 additional integrations (e.g. Xero, Dropbox). Team includes all providers and 5 additional integrations. Enterprise has unlimited integrations including custom and bespoke builds via our API.

  • Which channels can I use to talk to my Assistant?

    All plans include the Web Portal, WhatsApp and Telegram. Your Assistant works the same across all channels, it remembers context, has access to your integrations and can take action regardless of where the conversation happens.

  • Is my data secure?

    Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using AES-256 encryption. Integration tokens (Microsoft, Google, iCloud) are stored encrypted and never shared between Assistants. Each Assistant operates in its own isolated environment. Enterprise customers can opt for a dedicated instance for full data isolation. We do not use your data to train AI models.

  • What's the difference between Solo and Team?

    Solo is designed for individuals, 1 provider account, 2 integrations, 2,000 credits/month. Team unlocks collaboration features: shared boards, approvals workflow, activity feed, knowledge base, custom Assistant personalities, all providers and 5 integrations, plus 3,000 credits per seat. Even a single user can benefit from Team if they need the extra integrations or knowledge base.
